MOMMA'S GOT A NEW PASSION...

Some women dream of owning a ton of stillettos or hoochie momma shoes and designer handbags. Not me. My dream is to own one of these.

It is an air compressor...... But this air compressor is not the thing that draws passion to my heart. This air compressor's only job is to run the tools that I dream about..... the nail gun and brad gun. I am just so lucky that they both come in my favorite appliance color- RED! After endless years of yearning and countless of projects to do, I am going to do it. I am going to H*me Dep*t and treating myself to this early birthday present. I know that my family does not read my blog, so it would be useless to tell them to give me a gift card from my house of worship- H*me Dep*t. If by chance my siblings read this.... HINT HINT for my birthday gift this year.

You go girl - I think you may be my new hero. I had no idea power tools came in red.
So, when would be a good time to visit? If I visit will you show Dan your new power tools?
Um, that may not be such a good idea after all.

You are a girl after my own heart! I actually own more power tools than Dev. He has to physically drag me out of the "HD" store or the "L" store.

AWESOME! I'm the handy person around this house and my girls have tools too! DH is happy to let me do it. We have fab neighbors too who love to help and teach (and loan tools). Can't wait to see the projects b4, during and after.

How cute are you?! I would laugh, but I want one of those steam-cleaners for my birthday so I understand the lure of the appliance.

Happy nailing and Happy Birthday!

Ah, a girl like me. One of the best things about this adoption process is finding out that there is a group of women I "niche" with. I'd love a compressor, too. After using one in my upholstery class with the staple guns, I was truly in love.

I've already told my Aunty that when I die I want to be buried with my drill in case I get to bring it with me where I go next!

OMG Lisa - I'm so there with you! I bought one of these (reconditioned) from Strausser Hardware off of Ebay last month. It is one of the funnest tools ev-eh!!!! Hope it helps pass the time - Tess will be here soon! My mom sends her love and good wishes to you also! (She's not computer literate so I print her blog for you and she talks about you like we're neighbors! smile!)
