I think that it is starting to be Autumn time!!!
One of the first signs of the Autumn season approaching is seeing the bugs.... Katydids, Praying Mantis' and Grasshoppers. I have sighted all three of these insects in the last few days.
Did I mention the cravings? Every Autumn I crave soups and stews. All the way down the canyon I was trying to figure out what I would be cooking tomorrow.
Shocking how fast the Summer has twinkled on by. I am only so very thankful that time is passing quickly. You can only imagine why.
So everyone, lift a glass of what entices you and join me in a toast to the welcoming in of pumpkins, corn stalks, ghost ,witches and goblins. Turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce.
Time moving quickly by.

I love the Fall! It's my favorite season. Can't wait.
My favorite season too. I have been thinking about stew all week!
Autumn is my favorite of all. I'm going to be brazen enough to say that I think this may be my last Autumn without my girl home.
I'm afraid you're right! Summer is winding down. It will be hot here well into the fall, but the days will shorten and we will eat soup more often. I like autumn, but it's always so busy with school starting and everything.
I'll bet it's beautiful where you are!
I saw a tree with leaves changing colour. The only good thing about the fall arriving is that it means we are movinh ahead.
Keep smilin!
LOVE Autumn! But I think we're gonna be sweltering for at least another two months...
I tagged you for a meme if you would like (see my site). =)
I understand completely! I'm still hanging onto every moment of summer we have left but this morning did find myself wanting to make chili. That's a sure sign that fall is in the air.
Such a beautiful season!!
Isn't that funny?! I was just thinking spring is definitely in the air today! It was really warm, I think I even sweated a bit!!!
And YES! to CJ - this is definitely our last Spring/Autumn (!) without our girls.
Goodness - we are still having 100 degree weather -----send down your chill in the air!!!!
Autumn is our favorite time too...Emma just said the other day that she couldn't wait until fall got here!
No chill here, but I do detect a shift in the way the sun shines.
I'm with all the commenters. Fall is my fave as well, with football season starting, and new routines, shorter days ...and the soups. My specialty is Indian Summer Stew with shrimp and fresh veggies, lime, thyme and garlic. It's divine.
Here's to time twinking by for you, Lisa. :) I'll drink to that.
Shell
Fall is my favorite. I love the crisp air and the smell of fireplaces.
