Since I don't have anything else to do with this crib, it has become the catchall for paperwork. My office/spare room will become Tate's Kingdom (room). So far I have moved the guest twin bed out of it and replaced it with the crib. I used to use the twin bed surface for piles of paperwork, receipts, bills. Kind of like a file system, I guess. Slowly Tate's crib has turned into a landing space for such items. Hey at least Tate has her stuffed animal friends and blankie in there. Sadly, Mesa has discovered the stuff animals. In true Golden Retriever fashion, she loves to rip the animals apart, pulling out the batting and playing with the empty body. Now she just stands tall and whines for some of these animals. I am sensing that this passion for stuffed animals will become a problem when Tate is around. Until the meantime, I will have to put up with ignoring the whining as I am in the office and onto my blog reading.

A GOOD USE FOR THE CRIB

I have the same stuffed pig...it's SO soft.
You don't even want to see Lauren's room. It's a total disaster right now. If China could kick out more than 7 days, maybe I would get the motivation to paint!

I did the same exact thing with Emma's crib, until I couldn't take staring at her stuff so much. I know it will be a while so I just packed it into storagables until the time comes. By the way when I was living with roommates we had a dog that was the same as Mesa. Although this dog just wanted to kill the squeaker. New toy with squeaker = her attention for a few hours until the squeaker is out and dead. The next few hours are dedicated to pulling out the stuffing. Then we played with the shell of the toy until bed.
At least your solution doesn't get hair on the bedding. Jadyn's crib has become Jake's (for now).
Good use for the crib! Hang in there. I waited 3 years for Kate. It will happen! Here is a hug for you!

Haha! Mesa is a dog after Chewy's own heart... we have heaps of little un-stuffed animal bodies laying around!!!
