Baby steps I took toward my decision to adopt....
Two years ago a friend suggested to me that I would make a great MOM and I should consider adopting... Then she moved and left me with a plant and a challenge to keep the plant surviving for a year (that plant is now a jungle) ....If the plant survived my next step would be to get a puppy...If the puppy survived then the final step would be to adopt a child.....The puppy was at that time a 7 week Golden Retriever puppy (now 22 mos and 90 lbs of lovin') and is the love of my life.... now on to my ultimate challenge...
